The Chesapeake’s community garden, woodworking shop, putting green and game rooms abound with activity daily. Guest lectures, theater productions and musical performances are regularly hosted onsite for everyone to enjoy. And our 34-acre campus serves as the perfect backdrop for those who want to enjoy biking or taking a quiet stroll.

The natural splendor of the surrounding area features endless opportunities for outdoor adventure, boating, fishing and sight-seeing. Golf enthusiasts have convenient access to community and private courses, and The Chesapeake’s annual golf tournament is always a popular event. In addition, the nearby universities such as Christopher Newport University offer a variety of educational programs and classes in which residents actively participate.
