The Chesapeake's True Life Care plan offers our residents and their families the assurance that they will receive the care they need when they need it right on our campus.

How True Life Care Works

 

True Life Care allows residents to contract in advance for specialized care which they may need in the future. By selecting an apartment or cottage residence of their choice, residents live a maintenance-free lifestyle, enjoying the available services, amenities and programs that The Chesapeake has to offer.

 

As health circumstances change, residents move between their cottage or apartment residence, Assisted Living, and Licensed Nursing Care. They always remain in the familiar, comfortable surroundings of The Chesapeake, close to friends, neighbors and family whom they know and trust.

 

Residents pay an entrance fee and monthly service fees that remain the same as residents move between the different levels of care. The only added expenses are for two additional meals a day (one meal is already included in the monthly fee) and ancillary charges, such as beauty salon services, medical supplies and pharmacy services.

 

Monthly fees are subject to annual increases. As a result, True Life Care helps protect against escalating health care costs and provides assurance that expert care will always be provided. And that’s why we call it “True” Life Care at The Chesapeake. If a resident's funds become depleted, financial assistance may be requested.
