February 2: COVID-19 Update

The Chesapeake’s leadership team appreciates flexibility and understanding as COVID-19 cases are reported in the community.

New Positive Results to Report Are as Follows:

  • One environmental services team member who works in healthcare was identified on February 1.

The COVID-19 positive team member is quarantined at home. Anyone who is identified as having close contact will be contacted directly.

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has been notified of the positive case. The Chesapeake’s team continues to follow all VDH recommendations to prevent the spread of the virus.

The Chesapeake’s team urges all residents and team members as well as guests to remain vigilant regarding mask-wearing, social distancing, and proper hand hygiene.
