Freedom to Live Well

The Chesapeake has long been recognized for providing exceptional comprehensive senior health services. In fact, we continually receive top ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). With the May 2018 ratings from CMS, The Chesapeake continued its 5-Star rating.

As a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), The Chesapeake offers residents peace of mind that comes from knowing that if their needs change, they’ll have priority access to a full continuum of quality health care right here on our beautiful Newport News, VA, campus.

Our levels of care include:
1. Assisted Living
2. Memory Care
3. Skilled Nursing
In addition, our Senior Rehabilitation Therapy team of physical, occupational and speech therapists play a vital role in residents’ recovery following an illness or surgery. It’s also comforting to know that when hospitalization may be needed, three distinguished hospitals are located close by.
