January 20: Visitation Update
With the challenge brought on by several positive cases of COVID-19 in the memory support neighborhood, The Chesapeake’s leadership team has been developing a safe way to allow families to continue visiting. If you would like to schedule an in-person visit, contact Damian Polewczak at 757-223-1637 or [email protected].
The leadership team is asking that you contact us so that we can advise you of any new requirements for visiting. Family members are not restricted from visiting. We are doing everything in our power to create a safe environment for all residents, their families and Chesapeake team members.
The requirements for visiting the Cornerstone Neighborhood are as follows:
- In-person visitors will wear full personal protective equipment before entering. Equipment is located outside the neighborhood entrance door to Cornerstone.
- In-person visits will occur in resident rooms at a safe distance of six feet or more.
While in-person visitation is an option, residents and their families are encouraged to consider meeting virtually due to the current outbreak. To schedule a virtual visit, please contact Necoma or Tanna at 757.223.1689 Monday through Thursday, and Bobbi at the same number Friday through Sunday.
