The Chesapeake senior living residents in Newport News, VA. got a chance to soak up some sunshine while setting sail in search of sea life on August 19. Nine residents set out with Rudee Tours for a day of dolphin watching.

The dolphin cruise aboard the Rudee Flipper was a 90-minute tour narrated by marine experts. Tour guides shared knowledge about the dolphins and the Virginia Beach coastline.

The trip was organized by The Chesapeake’s resident services team. Each month, residents are invited to join in on several community outings. Next week residents will play miniature golf. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, most trips are capped at 10 participants. Sign-up is available through Touchtown in the monthly calendar section.
