September 22: Memory Care COVID-19 Update
The Chesapeake COVID-19 Update 9/22/21
The Chesapeake’s leadership team would like to announce the restoring of visitation to our Cornerstone Memory Care neighborhood as of today at 10 am. All required testing has been performed and we have received the proper number of negative results from state mandated testing to re-open for visitation.
The Chesapeake’s team urges all residents and team members to remain vigilant regarding mask-wearing, social distancing, and proper hand hygiene as we continue to fight the spread of COVID-19. As a reminder, all visitors to our licensed areas including Healthcare, Memory Care, and Assisted Living require masks to be worn in the common areas and the resident’s rooms while visiting.
All team members will continue to follow guidelines from the Virginia Department of Health and CMS, including safety procedures and the use of proper protective equipment, to prevent the spread of the virus.
Please check the COVID-19 Communications Hub for up-to-date communications. Questions or concerns may be submitted to Barbara Jackson-Ingram at [email protected].
Sincerely,
David A. Loop
Executive Director
