Annual Bunny Hop Raises Nearly $2,000 Raised for Benevolence
Residents, team members and their families got into the holiday spirit with the second annual Bunny Hop held on April 9. Dozens of participants hopped around the loop all to raise money for The Chesapeake’s Benevolent Fund.
The event featured an Easter egg hunt, raffle prizes and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The event raised more than $1,700 to provide essential services to residents in the community who can no longer provide them for themselves.
The National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) provided the first-ever corporate sponsorship for the event.
