It also means that, unlike many other Senior Living communities, our dining servers are trained hospitality employees, not nursing assistants. They are professionally trained and actively participate in ongoing educational programs designed to ensure that every resident has an exceptional dining experience, not just a good meal. The Chesapeake residents are treated to the flavors of the season with one of our premiere signature culinary programs, Seasonal Plate. Seasonal Plate recipes are designed to bring excitement and anticipation to the Dining Room through a collection of monthly recipes that leverage seasonal ingredients for mouth-watering menu selections. By encouraging our residents to eat foods that are in-season, we are also facilitating healthier choices. Our Chefs design different Seasonal Plate recipes each month to introduce our residents to various flavors and foods. Many of our Seasonal Plate recipes come from BeWell, our signature wellness program.

Our Chefs choose locally sourced whole foods and bring the most nutrient-dense recipes to the table without compromising taste. We also present BeWell options on our menus with a strategically placed icon so that our residents can quickly scan their menu to determine the healthiest options available. Our casual bistro features a variety of cook-to-order options, including grilled seafood and steaks, in addition to the daily chef’s specials.
In the mornings, you can mingle in the coffee bar area over a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Later on, it becomes a cozy lounge where you can enjoy your favorite beverage prior to or after dinner.
